The Sound Between Us

Mina Park spends her days making other people sound unforgettable. At night, she posts her own songs anonymously as Morrow. No face, no interviews, no chance for anyone to turn her into a brand. Then one track explodes, and famous singer-songwriter Leo Hart announces he wants to find the mystery woman and record with her. Mina has just been assigned to engineer Leo’s comeback album. He’s quick-witted, unexpectedly thoughtful, and increasingly interested in the woman behind the mixing desk. While he plays Mina Morrow’s songs and asks what she hears in them, Mina has to pretend she doesn’t know every breath, harmony and lyric by heart. Keeping quiet should be simple. Except the hunt for Morrow starts hurting the wrong people, anonymity becomes worth real money, and late nights in the studio make Mina want Leo in ways that have nothing to do with music. Every session brings him closer to the truth. And the closer Leo gets to Morrow, the harder it becomes for Mina to know which version of her he’s actually falling for.
